Our PTA
Welcome to the page for our Parent Teacher Association (PTA). We were formed in May 2022 and we have 2 main focus areas:
- Fundraising to support key school aspirations for improving the resources and experiences available to our children
- Acting as a hub for our community and creating opportunities for people to come together in support of both the school and wider community
Over the coming months we will be updating this page with details of our fundraising and events.
We also have a Facebook page where you can keep up to date with all of our work, please follow us on Facebook.

Our Latest Updates
September 2025 – July 2026
As we come to the end of another fantastic school year, the PTA would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful school community for all your support. Whether you’ve volunteered your time, attended events, donated prizes, or simply supported us throughout the year, we are incredibly grateful.
This year has been packed with memorable experiences for our children. We have delivered 11 PTA Passport experiences, including Wellbeing, PJ Story Night, the Pantomime Trip, Enterprise Challenge, the Elf Workshop, Wimbledon, Duckling Hatching, Break the Rules, and the Halloween, Easter and Leavers’ Disco.
Alongside our events, our Friday ice lolly and snack sales have become a much loved end of week tradition. We were also delighted to treat every child to an ice lolly during the school beach trip.
We are also thrilled to share the fundraising success of our two most recent events.
Appleton Rocks Community Festival was all about bringing our community together and providing a fantastic opportunity for our children to perform and showcase their talents. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors and Yorkshire Heart, we raised a fantastic £3,440.
Sports Day was a fabulous afternoon enjoyed by children, families and staff alike, and raised an additional £687.
Together, these events have made a significant contribution to the funds we can invest in enhancing learning and experiences for our children.
A massive thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the year. Your enthusiasm, generosity and support help us create valuable experiences and opportunities for all our children.
We are currently working on some exciting plans for the funds raised, and we look forward to sharing more details with you in September.
Wishing everyone a wonderful summer break.
